
Welcome to StepForward
StepForward is a 6-week programme from Working Minds focused on enhancing mental and physical well-being. It covers three key areas: cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, and flexibility.
The programme includes 7 exercises that progressively increase in duration and intensity, aimed at boosting confidence and fitness levels.
You will progress through three 2-week stages, with the first establishing a baseline fitness level. Each subsequent stage introduces more challenging exercises to create improvements in your health and wellbeing.
By the end of the programme, you can expect to see significant positive changes in your health. Committing to StepForward means investing in yourself and moving towards a healthier lifestyle!
What to Expect
Weeks 1 & 2
Step 1 begins with seated exercises to start gradually building up your fitness and resilience. The format of each week of the programme stays the same throughout: a workout guided by your Practitioner, a solo workout doing the same exercises as you did in the guided session, and a check-in with your Practitioner to finish the week.

Weeks 3 & 4
In Week 3, you will progress to Step 2 of the programme!
This will increase the intensity and duration of exercises in a manageable way. The format remains the same, with a guided workout, a solo workout, and a check-in in each week.
Weeks 5 & 6
You’ve reached the final 2 weeks of the programme! You’ll take another step up, moving to Step 3 and increasing duration and intensity again.
You’ll close it out in your final check-in (Week 6), exploring your progress and how you’re feeling. We will give you all the information needed to continue on your health journey, and show you how to put it into practice going forward.
