Personal Therapy Solutions

Clients have many different reasons for coming to Working Minds for therapy. Often, clients may have encountered distressing or stressful experiences or situations which they’d like to talk about in a safe setting.

Some seek support to help them deal with specific psychological or behavioural traits which they’d like to alter, such as compulsive thoughts or difficulties relating to other people.

Others may want to explore a general feeling that their lives are not quite right, or to cope with feelings of depression or anxiety.

But, many people are attracted to therapy as an opportunity to undertake personal development in a safe and supportive environment: it is not always necessary to have a ‘problem’ to find this support useful.

Our Approach

We take a holistic approach, listening to you and blending together therapies to create a programme that will work best for you.

This is called integrative therapy. When clients come to us with an idea of what they need, we always recommend that we discuss the options first so we can reach a joint decision about what would be most effective.

This could involve counselling/psychotherapy, CBT, cognitive coaching or a mixture of whatever suits your needs best.

Confidentiality & Safety:

Remember, we never divulge any of your information or personal details to third parties, and we abide by the safety and professional ethics of a number of clinical bodies such as the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Inclusivity:

Working Minds is an inclusive organisation, meaning we do not discriminate in any way and will work, within our areas of knowledge and expertise, and to the best of our ability, with clients of every background and age and stage who seek our therapeutic support.
