Qualifications:
Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling

Level 5 in Psychotherapeutic Counselling

Specialised Areas:
I have over 2 years experience working with complex grief and traumatic loss working as a volunteer counsellor for a bereavement charity. I currently work as a practice counsellor for the NHS in a general practice setting.

I feel my grief work extends to other loss and life transitions including redundancy and divorce looking at new normals, recovery and often use a Gestalt approach to work with unfinished business.

Bio:

As a person-centred counsellor/psychotherapist and registered member of the BACP, my aim is to understand what it is like to be you in your world. We may experience overwhelming feelings in life and sometimes the fear of burdening others can leave us feeling isolated or stuck. Exploring life challenges together in a safe environment may enable us to make connections between past experiences and the present and their impact on our well-being.

Feeling heard, understood and supported in my own counselling experience has inspired my passion to work with others and offer what for me has been a healing journey.
