Whether working with Emergency Services, Military Support Services or in the General Workplace where incidents may occur, it is important that processes are in place to protect employees from psychological disturbance and resultant stress which may occur at work, whether this is part of their routine experience or not. Unprocessed emotional distress can have debilitating effects and lead to poor mental health resulting in potential long term sickness.

 

We can equip organisations and their employees to deal with trauma related workplace issues and be more aware and conversant about psychological wellbeing in the workplace. As a result, individuals will start to take greater responsibility for their own wellbeing.

Our approach

Our approach includes one-to-one treatment sessions, such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) Counselling or EMDR (in acute trauma cases). We work in partnership with the individual/group and employer to plan and deliver a stepped service, raising confidence, dealing with concerns and helping process unhelpful thinking.
